ISO10723 EffecTech 

ISO10723 defines the performance evaluation for analytical systems used in natural gas. The standard describes the process to ensure the most accurate method of determining the performance of a gas chromatograph is carried out.

Synertec perform ISO10723 performance evaluations throughout Australia on behalf of EffecTech.

The performance Evaluations carried out by Synertec on your gas chromatograph, uses at least 7 different composition reference gases containing all of the components measured by the GC. The GC under test is used to measure all of these reference gases and the results are sent to EffecTech where the GC’s linearity and repeatability are established using regression analysis. Using these parameters, an off-line model of the GC is developed to establish the size of the errors and uncertainties when measuring the range of natural gas or LNG passing through your metering point. These errors and uncertainties can be used to demonstrate to stakeholders compliance with contractual requirements or environmental regulations.

The results from the performance evaluation include response functions for all components which can be applied to your instrument, correcting any non-linearity errors, assuring you the highest level of accuracy achievable.

EffecTech’s proficiency testing schemes provide objective evidence of analytical performance for both laboratory and process methods and attract participants from all over the world including:
